Synth-fueled and hardcore-influenced, the band has produced four brand new tracks for new and old listeners alike. Lyrically, The Wonder Years still adhere to their own blend of sharp wit and constant allegory, but reflect less on the trials of fictionalized characters and more on those of their own everyday lives. Musically, the band continues to provide catchy pop punk tunes with touches of hardcore structures, but have also infused more layered and fleshed-out song writing, taking influence from bands like "Your Favorite Weapon"-era Brand New, Latterman and Living With Lions.
