Loading... Please wait...It’s been quite a decade for Something Corporate. An indie release at the top of the new millennium caught the attention of Drive-Thru Records, whose connection to MCA Records helped bring songs like “I Woke Up In A Car,” “If You C Jordan,” “Punk Rock Princess” and “Space” to the national and international stage. Two albums and four years later, the band put themselves on pause to explore other opportunities: guitarist Josh Partington formed Firescape; lead singer and pianist Andrew McMahon founded Jack’s Mannequin, only to be diagnosed with acute leukemia upon completing the first album. He has since defeated cancer and released two well-received albums.
Now, for the first time since 2005, Something Corporate will be reuniting to perform at the Bamboozle Left Festival in Anaheim, CA, in March. This comes hot on the heels of the guys coming together in a studio in January 2010 to record new tunes and craft new mixes exclusively for this 10-year first-ever retrospective, Played In Space.
