While comparisons to Gainesville powerhouse Against Me! have popped up at times, this band is not riding any coattails. They play the sort of punk anthem that is at once catchy and different. Their anthems are politically charged, but not overbearingly so. The message never obscures the bands power and energy (and vis versa).

Virtual touring machines, The Riot Before have already managed to chalk up over six official tours (the longest being a 75 day full US jaunt) and have shared the stage with the likes of The Gaslight Anthem, None More Black, Bomb the Music Industry, Off With Their Heads, Tim Barry and Smoke or Fire. 2009 finds the band with a new home at Paper + Plastick and exciting new releases in their future.
